YellowBird Wedding

because simple is beautiful

Monday’s are a bummer. Unless of course you spend them at a wedding! And that’s just what I did on September 22nd at Niagara Falls. It was a little chilly at 11AM for the ceremony, but the beauty of Three Sisters Island helps you to forget that you have your coat on and realize that you’re standing on one of the wonders of the world. If Heather and Christopher were chilly, they sure fooled me because they looked nothing but happy to be there. After so many years together they were ready to make their love for each other official. So much so that they actually planned most of the wedding before Chris even proposed! They drove many hours to have their special moment take place at a beautiful landmark and Heather’s sisters came to witness the love. We climbed up on a rock with the water rushing behind us and Heather and Chris vowed to love each other and share in each others adventures for all of time. Not only was that amazing, but it was my second kilt wedding. I seriously love kilts. After that we walked around a bit taking in the scenery, and then the happy couple went to celebrate and get warm. Congratulations Christopher & Heather! I’m so glad that the two of you found me and that I was able to bring the two of you together forever. Enjoy many more film festivals in your future!
