Where do you guys find these places?! I’m constantly going to such magical venues for weddings, and I’m forever surprised how people manage to find them. On June 11th I headed to Ventosa Vinyards in Geneva, NY to celebrate the wedding of Marissa & Billy. A super cute couple I had only met online, I was so happy to finally meet them in person. They were even lovelier humans than I had gathered before, and there was no where else I would rather be. I mean, it didn’t hurt that I was at a vineyard, with a gorgeous lake behind me, in the sunshine, and with my BFF photographers Ayres Photography. It was just an all in all amazing day. Windy as all heck, but amazing.
I found Marissa and Billy gathered close together, waiting with their bridal party, hoping that the moment would soon begin. Guests were seating themselves on this giant lawn, looking at the lake and listening to a string quartet play. Soooo, pretty sweet day. When it was time for the couple to have their moment, everyone stood up, beaming at Marissa as she made her way down. She looked stunning and I was so honored to be a part of the moment. They were cutely nervous, some awkward movements and never knowing when to take hands, but those are my favorite moments. So authentic and full of emotion and makes my smile bigger and bigger! After readings and vows, it was kissing time, and they didn’t waste the moment! Congratulations Billy and Marissa. You’re such a wonderful couple and I am so happy that I got to spend such a special moment with you. Much love!
