Ok, this may be the first wedding where the most emotional person there was not the bride or groom. But I’ll get to that! On April 17th, I was lucky to be at The Legacy on 18 Mile Creek, an always lovely venue that really shines on a spring day that feels like summer. I found Tracy and Dave there getting ready for their big moment, looking eager and happy. Tracy’s young daughter was also happily in the wedding because she loved the two of them so much, and obviously wanted to share in the day. Well as it was time to head down, I stood with Dave as we watched Tracy walk about with her daughter, who was SOBBING the entire time. It was so beautiful to see these emotions she probably hadn’t felt before, and she was overwhelmed by the moment. Tracy and Dave looked comfortably comfortable, having been loving each other a long time, and knew this was the absolute right moment for them. They said their vows and smiled so big right before they kissed, even if their maid of honor was still sobbing 😂😂😂
Congratulations Dave and Tracy! The two of you deserved such a beautiful day and I know you’ll continue to make more of them throughout your days.
