YellowBird Wedding

because simple is beautiful

October 15th was a beautiful day, especially on Owasco Lake in Auburn NY. Jason was hanging with his guys, maybe a little nervous and confused about how exactly things should be happening. You could tell he was focused on everything being perfect for Melissa, and that was making him a little disjointed in this thoughts. He wasn’t sure when he should walk out or the order of his groomsmen, but I knew as soon as he saw Melissa, everything was going to come together for him! Melissa was hiding out with her dad waiting for the moment she would enter and take that long walk to the alter. Near the Springside Inn, the little chapel was a perfect place for these two to begin their promises. After a little rushing around looking for missing boutineers and the usual wedding day things, it was time for it to start. Jason and I headed to the alter and he seriously looked so adorably nervous. Soon the bridesmaids made their way down and then the doors opened to Melissa. There were smiles all around and she slowly walked down, nervously looking at Jason and down at her feet. They are both sort of shy, so I’m sure this was a very intense moment for them. But there are no nerves that can keep you from the one you love and that was proved in this moment. After their vows they took hands and shared some quick looks and moment with each other. It felt very intimate because they only looked at each other and focused on that. Congratulations Jason and Melissa. The two of you were meant for each other and I’m so glad I was able to share such a beautiful moment with you. Much love!
