YellowBird Wedding

because simple is beautiful

I like when cold weather doesn’t stop a couple from getting married. You’re powerless wind chill! It’s even more amazing when their wedding vendor abruptly closes a month before and leaves them in a lurch, that they don’t panic. They just make it happen. Because it’s a moment that needs to happen. And that’s exactly how it went for Justin and Tina. They may have had to scramble, but they ended up at the Brierwood Country Club for what turned out to be a perfect moment. They were a little nervous when I first arrived. They may have forgotten the wine box and love letters for part of their ceremony. They may have also forgotten the marriage license. But with a couple like that, there are always friends on hand to make it right, and after a short delay, they were ready to go! Tina looked beautiful as she was escorted down the aisle to her future husband. And while they kept it together for most of the ceremony, those personalized vows had them, their family and friends, and me (just about), in tears. I felt like I had known them their whole relationship and I couldn’t have been happier to be sharing this moment with them. Finally the kiss arrived and they grabbed each other with a look of pure joy. Congratulations Justin & Tina! I knew everything would work out for the two of you because the two of you are perfect for each other, and not being together was never an option. Best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness!
