I can’t get into what this wedding meant to me without getting teared up as I write, so I’m just going to put that I’ve known Melissa a long time, watched her grow up, watched her struggle and change, watched her fall in love, and then got to share in that moment and marry her to a super cool and loving human. What a day November 10th was! Although it was cold. Outdoor November weddings are a wild idea, and while it was so beautiful at Griffis Sculpture Park, it was cold π
I arrived to see my (for all intents and purposes) little sister Melissa, getting ready to walk down the aisle and stand beside Grace as they read their beautiful, personal written vows. And I got to tease her a lot in the ceremony, so big win for me! Really though, it was an honor to bring two people together and it reminded me how lucky I am to know the people I know, and to get to share in these moments. Congratulations Grace and Melissa! It was a perfect day for the two of you, and I’m so happy I get to continue to watch your love grow. Love, Big Sis.
